STAUNTON SCHOOL OF COSMETOLOGY and Hair Styling offers a full-time curriculum designed to prepare students for the Virginia State licensing examination and for profitable employment upon completion of the program. The knowledge and skills acquired at the School prepare students for rewarding careers and employment opportunities in a number areas after graduation. Some examples of these are the following:

THE SCHOOL ADMITS persons who are high school graduates, hold graduate equivalency diplomas (GEDs), or are above the compulsory school attendance age in the Commonwealth of Virginia and have the ability to benefit from the program.

SCHOOL HOURS are from 8:45 AM to 4:15 PM Tuesday through Saturday. New classes begin every 5 weeks. A student's day off is determined by his or her class schedule.

 THE SCHOOL'S CLINIC Department provides complete beauty services for the public at economical prices -- usually less than half the cost of regular salon services. All services are performed by students in training and are supervised by licensed professional hairstyling teachers. Appointments may be made for all major clinical services.
